- LODGE/INDOOR DECOR: We have Aroostook County Quilt kits, quilts, wallhangings, & table runners, crocheted doilies & afghans, framed cross stitch, photography, original artwork & prints, baskets, wood burning, scrollwork & relief carvings, silk & dried floral arrangements, silk, twig, birch bark, & pine cone wreaths, driftwood, snowshoe, & handsaw lamps, signs, stained glass & ornaments, painted glassware, and dolls. We even have cedar kindling & white birch fireplace logs. New from Legacy Publishing are the famous Hautman Brothers Coasters in the Wildlife and the Country Morning Birds Collections.
- CANDLES: We hand pour our own long lasting very fragrant gel candles. Available in 5, 10, and 16 oz. jars in a wide selection of scents.
- COOKING/KITCHEN USE: Maple syrup, honey, & ploye mix, aprons, food safe turned wooden bowls, hand carved fiddlehead salad tongs & bean spoons, plus wood burned cutting boards.
- CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES: Home knit/crocheted sweaters, hats, scarves, socks & mittens, quilted handbags, tote bags & market bags, and a fine line of imported alpaca clothing & accessories.
- DOLLS: Snowmen, Moose, & Gingerbread in fabric and/or wood along with beautiful porcelain dolls made right here in Aroostook County. We also have Alpaca & Vicuna babies imported from Peru.
- DINOSAUR BANKS: Flocked wooden banks for the “little one” in your family depicting different dinosaurs.
- PERSONAL CARE: We have handmade soap in a lot of luscious scents that are very gentle to the skin. There is also an herbal apothecary available.
- JEWELRY: Layers of vibrant art and dichroic glass are cut, assembled, and kiln-fused to produce these striking pendants, earrings, and bracelets. Sterling silver or gold-plated findings finish each piece. Pendant bails will accommodate most chains or you may purchase a neck wire separately. Though some designs are similar, no two are exactly alike, making each piece uniquely yours.
- STATIONERY/GREETING CARDS: We offer a large assortment of original photo cards, art print cards & postcards by local photographers and artists, note cards, notepads, and journals. In addition to the local offerings, we carry some Leanin’ Tree cards as well.
- INK PENS: Exquisite selection of individual ink pens/desk sets turned from Moose/Deer Antlers or fine pieces of native woods including “teacher pens”.
- BOOKS: Most of our books are by Maine Authors or about Maine.
- PRIMITIVE SIGNS: Displaying signs in your home can say a lot about you and your values. Signs send a bold statement with a warm appeal. Beautiful pieces to display in your home offered in a variety of phrases and color combinations.
- FURNITURE: Very comfortable Adirondack style rockers in three sizes, stools with woven jute seats, children’s chairs, tables & doll cribs complete with pad and matching crib quilt and pillow. Knotty pine clothes drying racks.
- OUTDOOR/GARDEN DECOR: Rustic cedar benches & planters, bird feeders & birdhouses for chickadees, bluebirds, and wrens, baltimore oriole feeders, hand-carved birdfeeders & garden gnome stakes, plus stained glass wind chimes. We make our own twig wreaths, and also offer our fresh balsam Christmas wreaths and trees during the holiday season, plus a whole lot more!!!
- PERENNIALS: Come spring, we offer freshly dug perennials from our gardens. We garden for the enjoyment of it all so you will see grasses, flowers, and shrubs galore. Between the moose, deer, birds, bees, butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, foxes, bunnies, etc. there is always a lot of action going on here. This is why we garden…to enjoy nature. Our local deer herd keeps us busy trying out different plants to grow that they won’t eat. Trial and error and it has been a long, enjoyable journey. We also offer 2 ounce packages of Wild Lupine Seed gathered by one of our crafters.
If you are ever in the neighborhood, stop by and check us out. The coffee is always on!! Open Thursday ~ Monday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or by chance/appointment. We are in Aroostook County, aka “Crown of Maine” or “Top of Maine” (33 miles North of Patten and 8 miles South of Masardis) Turn off Rt. 11 onto the OxBow Rd. We are 3 miles in on the right. Watch for the wildlife signs and enjoy the ride.
